“a delight!”
This is the place I am going to stay every time I come to London (makes me wish I could come more often!). What a wonderful experience. The location is wonderful on a quiet street just 2-3 blocks from Marble Arch, Speaker's Corner, and Oxford Street and within walking distance of Marylebone High Street. Entering the cute building, there is a cozy parlour with soft music playing and a little array of snacks (chips, chocolates) for those late-night arrivals. When I checked in I was asked if I'd like tea brought up to my room, and there it arrived with little biscuits. The room was pretty, felt new with nice crown moulding, and a very comfy bed. Wireless is free as well! The breakfast was wonderful, a complete breakfast that could last you through much of the day. I felt very taken care of. I just loved the experience here and will be back.

“Nice and quiet hotel in ideal location”
Nice, comfortable, romantic, this small hotel is located at 5 mins walk from Marble Arch tube station. In a few mins you can get to Oxford Street (if you love shopping and crowd) or to Hyde Park (if you like relaxing between its small animals and secular trees). Me and my wife spent at The Sumner a long week-end for our 20th anniversary and all was simply perfect. All the staff was very professional and ready to fulfill all of our requests. A special mention to the receptionist Joanna for her smile and kindness.

“Highly Recommended”
I am a frequent business traveler and was referred to this hotel by my travel agent. I think it was a one of the best experience I have ever had. The hotel is located centrally on Oxford Street. The rooms were very clean and the staff very courteous. I would like to thank Mr. Rohit Gogia (Manager) for maintaining an exceptional standard. Keep it up!!!.
I highly recommend this hotel for business and pleasure stays.

“Good Choice in London”
We stayed for two nights in a queen at the beginning of a romp through Europe. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful. The Manager even pitched in and helped us carry our bags o the room.
Location is close to Marble arch so we walked from there throughout the west end and to Paddington station. Room was satisfactory. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was in the room rate and plentiful with a good selection.
They let us store 3 bags there for a few weeks.
We will be staying there again in a few weeks.

“everything was great”
I stayed at the Sunmer hotel for three nights in October, and this was the best hotel I stayed in London, would definitely come back. The front desk staff is going out of his way to make sure your stay is good, the room was very nice and clean, and despite facing the street the double glaze window was perfectly sound proof. The location is superb, central to walking almost everywhere and few steps from the metro.

“So Pleased We Returned”
The welcoming staff and the quiet ambience are just two of the reasons why we enjoyed our stay at The Sumner. We discovered this lovely hotel four years ago when looking for somewhere close to Oxford Street/Marble Arch and it more than lived up to our expectations when we stayed there again last month. Our king room was comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and coffee or tea was served in our room just a few minutes after requested. The manager and staff were helpful, polite and discreet. We are already looking forward to our next stay at The Sumner.

“Perfect Nest for London Tourists”
A total pleasure to spend five nights at this friendly, convenient, and comfortable hotel! On a quiet street a couple of blocks from Marble Arch tube station, Hyde Park, and The Wallace Collection, this hotel is an ideal home base for traveling throughout the city. The staff was gracious (even storing our golf clubs at no cost for 10 days while we went to the Cotswolds between check-ins), breakfast actually delicious and the rooms clean and well-appointed.

“Just a marvelous place to stay”
We came directly from Paris and spent 3 very relaxing nights in Room 207. Roughly 3 times the size of the Paris hotel room and worth every "pound"!. Everything was outstanding, breakfast selection for all taste, WiFI Internet, cable TV, size of room, a modern renovation of an English townhouse in an excellent location. A very quiet street also with shopping and pubs steps away. Hyde Park just two blocks away which provided a 2 mile circuit for running/walking.

“Excellent”
We stayed 4 nights with my wife and 2 friends. The hotel is located just a short walk from Marble Arch tube, close the Oxford Street. The hotel is cozy and rooms where nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best I've had on my visits to London. I will definitely stay again!
